Recipe Worth Trying

Black-Eyed Pea Salsa (also called Texas Caviar)

1 can black eyed peas
1 can white corn
2 avocados chopped
4-5 roma tomatoes chopped
1/2 bundle of cilantro chopped
juice from 2 limes
1/2 bottle of Italian dressing

mix ingredients and serve with "hint of lime" chips

I am making this tomorrow for a family birthday get together. My friend, Rendy, made this a couple weeks ago for a football game that has become almost like a holiday. You may be familiar with that game. The salsa was really good and was the only thing that was completely eaten. I highly recommend this because it is good for you, gluten free, and fits into vegetarian and vegan diets as well. There are some ingredients missing from the list that you can see in the picture but they have been left out on purpose because they are vile and disgusting. If you want the full recipe you can google it yourself. This blog will not support some vegetables no matter how pretty they look in a picture.

(I don't know why this post is all bunched together, it looks different when I write it but it posts like this. Daniel will fix it for me. Your wish is my command honey.)

I heard about this recipe and how good it was, thanks.

I can't tell what the unsupported vile and disgusting items are in that picture! I must know.

Uh, let me guess. Onions?

It is a REALLY good dip! Although I might leave the cilantro out, that is vile to me. Ok not really but I am not a fan of it. Thanks for making it!
