Twinners Turn Six!

Kennedy and Addison had a great celebration party. Their cousins and Uncle Jeremy came, along with Ammie and Papa, aunt Megan and last but definitely not least, our beloved Anita Roberts. The girls got so many wonderful presents that Santa probably won't be able to find anything for them that they already don't have. Ammie and Papa always seem to have the best gift ideas. This year they have done it once again. They bought a karaoke machine and that got the party started! We sang High School Musical and Cars soundtrack songs. I don't think there was one person at the party who did not sing. It was really fun.

Halloween 2007

The night before Halloween consisted of a mass pumpkin carving. Daniel carved a total of 7 pumpkins. In the mean time I was in the kitchen cutting out pumpkin sugar cookies and frosting them so we could take them to our hometeaching families. It was a pretty hecktic night and we had a blast. If we couldn't add to all the craziness we had Dave Matthews band blasting in the back ground. You would think Davis had died and gone to heaven. Pumpkins, cookies, trick or treating the next day. It was hard to contain oneself. I wish that pictures could capture the energy that was going on through all this. By the time the kids went to bed Dan and I still had our pumpkins to carve. Mine was dumb. Not much thought or creativity was happening for me but Dan got out his electric drill and put nickle sized holes all over his whole pumpkin and then bigger holes for the eyes and nose. It was pretty cool. Yes this is me, and I decided I would post a picture of myself because I am in my true character. We were headed to the ward truck or treat and I just couldn't find a costume. Oh well, maybe next year.
We have Kennedy as our ghost, Addie as the Witch and two spidermen this year. Jack was going to be a dog, or at least I thought I had him talked into it but I was wrong. Again.

We had a great Halloween. And now that it is November I should get with it and put some up to date pictures on my blog. To all you Wolfleyhowl fans -cio (goodbye in Italian)

Two little pumpkins

Children of the CornYes, Dave, that is a squished pumpkin

Jackson's only requirement for a pumpkin was to find one the same shape as his head. BINGO!

Over the river, to Hood River, a apple picking we did go!

What a beautiful day to pick apples! This farm we went to had 80 different varieties of apples and pears. We picked a box of "Swiss Gourmet" which are very crunchy, juicy eating apples. We also got about 40 lbs of mixed variety for applesauce. Jackson had a hard time keeping his rainboots on so he just sat in the wagon and ate the whole time. Davis was my big helper. He was the only one really interested in pulling the apples off the tree. You can see who just goofed around the whole time. We had a wonderful day!

First day of Kindergarten

The girls first day of school.

Addie and Kennedy wore their "school girl" jumpers that their Grandma made for them.
They had their "hello kitty" backpacks on filled with school supplies and said their tummies hurt a little bit, but they knew they were going to have fun.

You'll be alright (just get on the bus)

My babies are growing up :(

When they came home they jumped down the steps of the bus and said they loved school! Hooray! We ate lunch and they told us what they did at school. I asked them if anyone cried in their classes. Kennedy said someone cried and they left and came back with the principle. A few minutes later Addison said, "Mom, I know someone who cried in my class." I asked who it was and she pointed to herself. She then told me she cried two times and what the reason was for her tears. Then Kennedy said she cried twice as well! "What?" I said "You both cried twice?" Addie said, "Yes mom, we are twins!" I had to laugh. It is so fun to see them excited and ready to learn. I think the girls teachers are perfect for them and we have a fun school year ahead of us.

Have you seen the Wolfley Kids lately?

I recently spoke on the phone with several family members who had't seen the kids since the end of May. Jackson is probably the one who has changed the most but here is some close up pictures of the kiddies.

Party Hardy!

Davey boy turned 4 this week!

We had a great little party with his friends and got enough Lightning McQueen stuff to make one sick. Davis is a very animated young man who is easily excited. It is so fun to see him open his gifts and then toss them aside. I was begining to wonder if he'd even looked at the present that he had just opened!

To the Beach- Rain or Shine

We headed out for adventure. We braved the deep blue sea of Cannon Beach, OR. Just 10 minutes north, in Seaside, was the finish line for the Hood to Coast, but that didn't keep us away . We stayed several hours just having a great time.

I'll show you where you can put that camera.
After lunch we got the kids into their swimsuits and headed back down for more fun in the water. That only lasted about an hour as we watched the big dark clouds roll in from the sea. Soon the rain was coming down! We headed for the car along with all the other beachers. It was time for us to head to Tillamook for some ice cream anyway. We had a beautiful time, the kids were fabulous.

MMMMMMMM, Cheese.

Wolfley's Camping? NO WAY!

Yes, we went Camping in the Beaver campground in the beautiful state of Washington. The whole family was excited to brave the outdoors, except Dan. With a little coaxing, some fresh air and some grub Daniel was glad he had come too!
Jackson, Kennedy, Davis, Addison, Sam, Nathan, Matthew, Makenna

We went with our cousins the Allen Family. We camped by Wind River which was perfect for skipping or just throwing rocks. I think the kid's favorite part was sleeping in the tent and having their own flashlight. We had so much fun!
