Random pics

I didn't have much to share but I got sick of looking at hot cross buns! I went to our folders of pictures and randomly selected 5 pictures without looking at them and this is what I got. It was actually kind of fun.

Four little kids at the Oregon Coast way back when they were so small!

Dan and Jackson when Jack was a chubby baby. Addison and Aunt Megan raspberry picking. Looks like these two did more eating than picking!Kennedy at the Portland Temple grounds. Wow she is beautiful! Sargent Jackson Wolfley saluting General Ammie during our vacation last summer.

Hot Cross Buns!

Look closely my friends...could it be "Rhodes rolls" you see? No! I made these... yes, it is my new thing that I have found I can do! So I want to share it with you! My dear friend gave me a bread machine for a present and then I stole a recipie off some blog that I don't even know who it was and there you have it. Homemade rolls that were quick, easy, and delicious! My family is loving it and I have put on 4 lbs in a week so obivously I love them too! You too can have that success!

1/2 cup of warm water
1/2 cup warm milk
1/3 cup softened butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
3 3/4 cups flour
1 packet or 2 1/4 tsp yeast
Add ingredients in this order into bread machine
select dough cycle and let the machine do it's magic
It takes about 1 hour and 40 min. to knead.
When done I let it rise then take out dough and form into rolls
Bake at 400 10-15 min.
slather with butter when done.
* try it! you might like it!
