So I am here in my "robe" and it is 11:15 in the morning. The boys are in the tub and I am doing nothing, can't say that I hang out in my robe very often but I feel guilty. Why? because, I just can't decide if I should shower, go find some "comfy clothes" to put on or wait until I have to get dressed because the haircuts will be here. Hummmmm.... I guess I will just update my blog.
We have redone our front room and I love it. Daniel and his mother were in on getting me a new couch and chair for my birthday/christmas/anniversary! It was supposed to be a big surprise but with crazy snow we've had here over christmas it didn't quite happen that way. We painted with the help of Dan's mother, and also got a new rug (which I love). I adored having a red living room and I felt sad to see it go but it has been four years and it was time for a change. What do you think?

Lovely Sid! I love red too, but the new color is very relaxing. I felt the same way about my kitchen last year...i loved the yellow but was ready for a change. Nice furniture too! Happy New year!

The red was fun and looked great, but this looks great, too! It looks bright and happy, and comfortable and inviting all at the same time. :)
P.S. You have no idea how many days I'm still in my robe by late morning! In fact yesterday, I did take a shower first thing but still felt lazy, so I wore old comfy sweats the whole day. lol

It looks great Sidnee, but I have to say pictures don't to it justice.. it looks even better in person. It's more brown/gray. I love it too! Great choice in color. And the rug, is AWESOME.

It is always fun to have a change. I like it!!!! We painted our whole house when we moved in 4 1/2 years ago and I am beginning to think I need a little change too!!
