Luke is growing so fast. He loves his daddy and has missed him while he has been in Ohio this week. I would hold the phone up to his ear and I loved to see his eyes light up with recognition of the voice talking to him. It was very cute! He had his first solid foods tonight before bed. Rice cereal, bananas and milk, I guess he was ready for the heavy duty stuff cause he ate the first bowl and cried the whole time waiting for me to make the second bowl!
This was Jack three years ago. Many say these boys look similar but Jack definitely has the cheeks!
We had a fun "playdate" after school today. Addison and Kennedy had their friend Dewey over and also some triplet boys from their classes came also. The first 15-20 minutes consisted of running through the house screaming and chasing each other, I think they were so excited all their energy came out that way. Then we had a snack and then played with homemade Gak. I was canning pears while they all sat at the table and it was so fun to listen to the things they talked about. The girls would try to get a reaction out of the boys and the boys being oblivious to the girls and their silly little made up words and comments. We had a great time!
I just want to add to this miscellaneous blog of whatever, that despite the chaos in the world, the evils that are about us and the financial crisis that we are all aware of...... Isn't life wonderful? There is so much good in the world and in our lives today! The innocence of children, pure and happy. Beautiful fruit that we can put into bottles that will nourish our bodies, and sweet smelling babies that look at you with such love despite your imperfections. There is so much to be thankful for and to look forward to. That's all I have to say about that.
